Extract from the Status of the Association ” ASSOCIATION OF PHYSICS STUDENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF BUCHAREST”

ARTICLE 2.LEGAL FORM

2.1 ASF-UB is established by common will, freely expressed in the Constitutive Act of the founding members and operates under its own statute, pursuant of the Government Ordinance no. 26 of 30 January 2000 on associations and foundations, as amended and supplemented.

2.2 ASF-UB is a legal entity for private, non-profit, non-governmental, non-profit, apolitical and independent rights.

2.3 ASF-UB can not conclude protocols or partnerships with political parties or political youth organizations for political parties.

ARTICLE 5. MISSION AND PURPOSE

5.1 ASF-UB will mediate the relationship between management and students of the Faculty of Physics, for better collaboration between the two entities.

5.2 ASF-UB aim is to promote and protect the rights and interests of students in vocational and educational Faculty of Physics, University of Bucharest.

ARTiCLE 6 ASF-UB.OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES

6.1 The objectives of ASF-UB: a) achieving a better communication between students of the Faculty of Physics, Faculty Board and the University of Bucharest; b) promoting cultural and civic activities of students; c) organization of projects, activities, conferences and events on various topics, for students and civil society in general.

6.2 In order to achieve the mission, its goals and objectives, the association aims to be a dialogue partner for institutions in order for effective representation of students.

6.3 The activity of the association will focus on the following guidelines: a) promote studies and research in physics; b) organization of scientific studies and national and international professional meetings, exhibitions; c) organizing meetings formal or informal, entertaining or strictly professional for increasing one’s knowledge and to facilitate communication between association members, students and graduates; d) inform students of procurement of scientific equipment, editing and facilitating access on studies and scientific papers in physics; e) promote appropriate programs on training specialists in the field of physics; f) raise finance for specific publications editing, organizing national and international scientific meetings, and for participation in scientific meetings in the field of physics; g) establishing relationships with other associations and organizations from home country to abroad on scientific research and other fields; h) creating a system of communication and free flow of information by engaging in professional themes and research programs through exchanges, training (papers, reports, publications, network); i). continuous learning and perfecting the profession training of students and graduates; j) popularizing the academic activities of the Faculty of Physics at home and abroad; k) popularizing the professional performance of former students in the country or abroad, or the main professional events relating to their activities. l). progressing on other actions in accordance with the bylaws, rules of procedure and the legal provisions in force. m) support physicists student involvement in humanitarian activities and environmental protection activities.

CHAPTER II – MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION

ARTICLE 7. ASSOCIATION MEMBERS

7.1 part of the association membership includes the following categories: a) founding members b) adherents members c) honorary members

7.2 The natural signatory to the Statute and Articles of Association were founding members of ASF-UB.

7.3 any person, student of the Faculty of Physics of the University of Bucharest,may become a member of ASF-UB by accepting the Statute of the Association, supports the objectives of ASF-UB,contributes to achieving its goals and is accepted by the General Assembly.

7.4 By decision of the Board of Directors,it may be granted the title of honorary member of personalities from home and abroad who, through their activity, make a special contribution to the promotion and achievement of goals and objectives ASF-UB. Honorary members will not have voting rights in the General Assembly.

7.5 Membership can be acquired as a result of a request to the General Assembly, expressing the will of accession and acceptance Statute.

7.6 Reception of new members shall be done by the decision of the General Assembly.

7.7 ASF-UB members have the same rights and obligations without any privilege or discrimination.

7.8 ASF-UB members have equal voting right. Each member shall have one vote in the General Assembly.
